STEP ONE

We require a consultation before installation, where we can discuss more thoroughly if you are looking to add volume and density, or if you are looking for volume and length. We will also discuss how much hair will be needed based on the amount and current length of hair you have, and the type of extensions that will be best needed to best fit your hair goals. Our consultations include getting an accurate quote, discussing your desired length, and color matching the extensions to your hair.

STEP TWO

Here at Modern Muse, we use volume wefts, k-tips, and i-tip extensions. The type of extensions we decide would be best suited for you and your lifestyle will be discussed thoroughly in the consultation. Your hair density, length, and the condition of your hair all play a role in what type of extensions would be ideal for you. On top of adding volume and length, extensions can add extra dimension to your hair by introducing different tones. Just like any other hair service we offer, extensions are totally customized to you.

STEP THREE

Maintenance for your extensions, no matter the type, will need to happen every 5-8 weeks depending on the condition of your extensions and how quickly your hair grows. Depending on your extension type, the extensions will either be adjusted or removed and reinstalled upon the appointment. Our expert stylists will always inform you when they believe it is the best time to take a break!
